Como Instalar Mac Os X Leopard en un PC

PODEMOS INSTALAR Mac Os X EN UN PC?

La respuesta es si, y para ello hay dos formas, una utilizando una copia hackeada de Mac Os X (es el sistema que utiliza Psystar, para instalar el LEOPARD en sus ordenadores), y montaje pc con leopardla otra es utilizar el dispositivo  fabricado por Art Studios Entertainment Media, llamado E-Fix. La estabilidad del sistema dependerá del hardware con el que esté construido el ordenador. Utilizando el hardware adecuado podemos conseguir un nivel de estabilidad y fiabilidad del sistema, bastante elevada, es lo que han conseguido tanto Psystar, como el fabricante de clónicos europeo PearC.

Opción 1 La copia hackeada:

Si queris probar esta opción, por internet corren multitud de copias de Leopard, hackeadas para funcionar sobre un pc. Una de las versiones más fiables la podreis encontrar con el nombre de Kalyway Leopard 10.5.1 sse2 sse3. La configuración hardware ideal según Lifehacker sería la siguiente:

 

  •  Un procesador Intel Core 2 Duo (p.ejem. un 2.2Ghz)
  • 4 Gb de Memoria Ram (Kingston, Transcend) Cuatro Dimm de 1Gb cada uno
  • Una Tarjeta de video con chip Geforce 7300Gt (la misma que llevan los MacPro) (de PNY, CluB, etc..)
  • Disco Duro Serial ATA de 500Gb y 7200 rpm
  • Una Grabadora de DVD y CD (Pioneer, Liteon)
  • Lo más importante una placa base ASUS P5W DH
  • Una caja, con una buena fuente de alimentación y buena ventilación.
Con esto tenemos un pc de 1ª categoría, que nos permitirá ejecutar Kalyway Leopard con garantías, y/o cualquier windows o Linux.

 

 Opción 2 El E-Fix:

Primero, el E-Fix tiene la fecha de presentación prevista para próximo el 23 de Junio (tendremos que esperar para probarlo). El E-Fix es una especie de dongle que se conecta a un puerto USB y que simula el EFI (Extensible Firmware Interface) de los Macintosh. Las ventajas de este sistema respecto al de la copia modificada será (si realmente llega a salir al mercado), son una que podemos utilizar un Leopard original para instalar en el ordenador, y dos que podremos instalar las actualizaciones de software y sistema proporcionadas por Apple, desde la herramienta de actualización de software del Leopard. Para que esto funcione correctamente los Srs. de E-Fix proponen una serie de configuraciones de hardware en su página web

Por el momento Apple, no ha hecho ningún movimiento visible al respecto.

Mac OS X Lion, apart from being an operating system only available for Intel-based Macs, does not support Rosetta (PowerPC emulator for Intel computers).

Until the year 2006 (5 years ago) Apple computers equipped in primary brain processor IBM / Apple / Motorola, called PowerPC. But in 2006, Apple went on sale the first Mac (iMac) Intel Core Duo.

PowerPC and Intel were not compatible, so we had to find a solution for applications to continue running. To do this we found two:

    Creating the concept of universal application (effective today) where in the same application file (. App) is included to run the binary systems with PowerPC and Intel systems, two binary (the file containing the application itself ) different within the same application.

    Create a plugin system called Rosetta, which is nothing more than a PowerPC emulation layer that runs on Intel processors. Thus, any application that does not have universal version or not ready to Intel, you can run.

With Mac OS X Snow Leopard, the system can only be installed on Intel-based Mac and eliminates installation Rosetta normal (automatic). Rosetta can be installed as a supplement.

In Mac OS X Lion, Apple removed this add-on forever and Rosetta

(While remaining compatible) one stroke eliminates the need for universal applications. In fact, the Mac App Store was a first step towards this, and only works under Mac OS X Snow Leopard or Lion (ie only on Intel processors) and apps in it are no longer universal, and work only in Intel processors.

There is a simple way to know what kind of application are those that have and therefore ready for OS X Lion. We just have to go from the Finder to the Applications folder and request information CMD + click, Get Info (or press CMD + I). Thus, at the top we will see a sign that says Type: Application and brackets will tell if Universal, Intel or PowerPC.

So before installing Mac OS X Lion should check whether we are using incompatible applications.
